Can be purchased elsewhere online at a much better price. I purchased the coffee cup for a gift and plan to buy more. Just not here.

This coffee cup is a faithful recreation of the famous New York City deli coffee cup, from the pattern and colors right down to the slightly off shape that sometimes comes with paper cups.

The detail is the neatest thing about this mug. It has a fold in the lip and a crease along the side where the pattern seems to finish its "wrap". I'm not sure if it's totally faithful to the actual height of the original paper cup, because it does seem much shorter than other paper cups.

It's a good weight and is quite unusual, especially since it has no mug handle. And you can most certainly find it for a better price--Perpetual Kid has it for $10 and I've seen it for $12 at other places as well. Overall, it's a fun gift idea and a cool idea in general.

I love the look of these cups but they do get very hot after coffee is poured into them so they are difficult to pick up barehanded until the coffee cools. Fortunately I have a one-cup coffee maker that does not brew exceptionally hot coffee, and these cups fit under it perfectly.

I love my cup, however, just so everyone knows, it is NOT a 10oz. cup. It is 8oz if you fill it to the rim. I like it because it fits in my Keurig, but the coffee is a bit stronger with less water & room for cream.

You will need a sleeve of some sort if you have a hot drink in this, but it looks just like the cups you get in New York. It makes me think of bagels and grand central station. It is also very sturdy and well made. I like it very much.

I've always seen these little blue cups in movies...typically ones based in New York. I think their cute :-)
Its a good quality ceramic cup. The only downfall is that it has no handle so if you are drinking something hot you'll have to either wait until it cools or grab with a cloth or by the rim. If a handle had been put on it, it wouldn't look quite like the real paper cups since they don't come with handles.
It would have been nice if they cup had come with a durable plastic lid. It would have really completed the look....LOL

Okay, the recurring complaint is true to this mug. The cup gets as hot as the contents inside and when the coffee is hot, the cup will scold. Here's how you get past this problem. Don't fill the cup to the brim. Save about a half-to-full inch of space and hold the cup there. It works very well for me and I walk-talk with my cup around the office most of the day.

This cup also features a great diameter for my hand so it doesn't feel like it's going to slip out any moment.

I recommend you wash the cup immediately after opening. It's got some odd rough stuff on the inside and out and you don't want to drink that up. Probably factory residue. No biggie. It's cheap, it's good. Looks hip too.

Love this replica of a NYC icon! Fits great in your hand and even has the feeling of folds & a lip just like the real (paper) cups.

I am always on the hunt for the perfect coffee cup and this one is about the closest I have gotten. I am not a fan of a large cup as I like my coffee hot to the last drop. The size is perfect and it stays hot. I even like that the cup feels warm. I moved away from NY 5 years ago so the nostalgia factor is big for me.

i bought this cup not realizing how small it is. with no handle it gets very hot and since it's so small you have to fill it to the top. i wish it would have been bigger because as it is i hardley use it.
