This Mets team set is pretty cool if you're, obviously, a Mets fan. The cards are printed in the topps 2012 series 1 style, with the player's name at the bottom of the card in that swooshing, oval format. All the main players (or projected main players from the beginning of the season) are in the set. It also includes a stadium card, which as a Met fan, would be cooler for Shea Stadium, but you learn to love your home.
The picture on the player cards are the same as there would be in a regular Topps set. The difference is in the card ID number. The team sets have a three letter abbreviation of the squad followed by a number indicating which card this one is in the set. For example, David Wright is "NYM1." I think this is pretty cool if you normally purchase team sets, but it's a lot more fun to pull these cards in a regular Topps set. Of course, that comes with the uncertainty of what's in the pack. My little cousin loved this set, and at the end of the day, that means the cards served their purpose. Blue and orange 'til death.
