I purchased this collection of NYT Supersized (500) Easy Crosswords as a gift for my 73 year old father. The skill level is perfect for him. He describes them as challenging, but not impossible to complete. I'm happy with the purchase as it meets my goal of being easy without being condescendingly so. The physical format of the collection is also well done as he's able to remove a single puzzle to work on without having to deal with the bulk of the entire book. The price/value equation is also terrific. It's a whole lot of entertainment for a very modest price. I'd highly recommend it to anyone.

Mom is 89 and needed a challenge to keep her brain active, and this level of crosswords works well for her. They're not so hard to discourage her, nor so easy to bore her. I'd recommend this for book for both aged and the young puzzlers. Additonally, the big format makes it easy to read and to write in.
