Lou Gehrig died from ALS,beter know as Lou Gehrig disease. It tells all about Babe Ruth,Joe DiMaggio, Casey Stengel,and all the great Yankees. I realy think this book is about the greatest baseball team ever to live on the earth and in the universe.Did you know that Lou Gehrig appreciation is July 4, 1939. He died in 1941, at the age of 37. Babe Ruth joined the Yankees in 1920, making the Yankees winning the game against the Boston Red Sox.
