The best pen I ever owned!

Being a left handed person, my handwriting and even mood to write has always been greatly affected by the writing instrument used.

Writing in itself is a difficult activity for lefties - we need to push the pen instead of pulling it and mostly a straight standard pen obstructs our line of vision. Internet is full of articles about many such difficulties a left handed person faces.

With time, I've realized the importance of ergonomic ease while taking notes - it has more to do with quality and productivity than comfort and convenience.

Quality of my notes has greatly improved, as I retain more information. Now I don't scribble short notes which would not make sense to me later - A common problem faced by a lot of lefties. Yoropen is by far the best pen I've ever owned. Natural grip, no strain on my hand or fingers - much better handwriting - writing with this pen is a real pleasure.

There are many positives -

The picture does not do any justice to the pen - This is a great looking pen - very functional and artsy!

The pen is available in other cheaper versions which I intend to buy to carry around and the Yoropen Executive will be always on my desk.

The grip can be adjusted and the pen always feels balanced, the flow of the ink is very smooth. Simply a five star product - deservers all the awards and accolades it received.

I am surprised that I am the first person to post a review of this product!

I've never picked up and pen just so that I could write with the pen. Having poor handwriting for approx 20 years, I immediately saw an improvement in legibility, and for the first time I can see what I'm writing as I'm writing it (left handed). Perhaps not being able to see what I was writing as I was writing it was part of the problem all along? Kind of like how deaf people have weird sounding voices because they can't hear what they sound like? Previously, I had written of writing with pens in favor of typing on my Aspire one; in meetings or for quick notes, I've come to rely on notepad on my aspire one. I'm definitely back to pens now; specifically this pen. It's weird that it's more stylish than any gadget I've ever had. Just taking it out of the box at the office, within seconds, it invoked comments like "Hey did you steal Spock's pen?", "Is that the pen from the Starship Enterprise?".

The thing that's really insulting is that for decades now, big companies have been making pens yet not one of them could come up with this? I've been suffering with bad handwriting for 20 of my 27 years for no good reason? Egad! We should have had this invention a hundred years ago. It's like moving from sears catalogs to Charmin 2 ply. Come to think of it, I'd better buy some more.

I am a pharmacist by training, and as you can imagine my handwriting matches what doctors throw at me in terms of writing of prescriptions.

That being said, only until I tried Yoropen I realised that part of the problem with my poor handwriting has to do with the pens I was using before. This pen is really comfortable and you can really notice the difference right away, especially if you need to write a lot. Highly recommended, whether you are left or right handed.

I have a very large collection of pens of both ergonomic and traditional styles. This pen is by far the best to write with when it comes to marathon writing due to its design. Highly recommended.

I was drawn to this pen by it's design. There isn't any other pen that comes close to it's unique style. Once I held the pen and wrote with it, I had to have it. I am a right handed person so I cannot verify the left hand perspective. I can say however it writes very well right handed also. If I had to make one complaint it would be that the pen is very long and doesn't fit well in some of my shirt pockets. It's well made and I plan to enjoy it for years to come.
