Only buy this for the large scale, otherwise not useful,

I bought this map for one reason only, because I wanted to see the entire Yosemite park and outlying areas on one piece of paper. When planning a long trip or deciding between hikes in differnet parts of the park it is much easier to throw a huge scale map on the table than to zoom in and out on google maps. For general planning this map is fine. That is where its usefulness ends however. In terms of trip planning it's pretty useless. There are no trail milages on this map, which is a key feature for trip planning and trail use. The scale is a bit too large to be of much help on the trail but if you are a good navigator and don't want to carry alot of maps it might be fine.

Poor Map - Road Lines Too Small,

The road lines on the map are very small and hard to see. I would not recommend this map. It might serve as a better poster of the general area of the park rather than a map.
