About the Author

Lew & Ginny have explored the mountains and deserts of California, and the northwest to Mt. McKinley, most of the fifty states, Canada and remote Mexican villages. Their guides reflect their knowledge of the land and their concern about the care and conservation of their beloved Sierra. All maps and sketches were by Mr. Clark. Trail notes were taken as they made their journeys into the mountains for many years.
