If it's one thing I could say to the other amateur critic that reviewed this game is that she needs to get better tastes. Yoshi's Cookie is a very addicting puzzle game that feels like Tetris, Dr. Mario, and Bejeweled combined into one great puzzle game. You line up the different cookies together in a row, and then they will disappear as you match them, and as you would assume rack up a lot of points. The are one hundred stages of pure puzzle-gaming because there are ten stages to each level. The gameplay is very fast-paced and keeps you on your toes as you solve the puzzles. Also it feels like Dr. Mario because you can't let too many cookies gather up otherwise the machine will get too crowded and you will fail. Nothing in this game is broken, it functions how it should and the controls are very tight and smooth. The graphics are very nice looking, which is no surprise for the Super Nintendo(I don't know how it looks on the NES or Game Boy versions). The bad things about this game is the fact some stages can quickly be beaten sometimes in a matter of seconds, and you can't change the music you chose to play during the stages. This game is easily recommendable to kids and fans of fast-paced puzzle games because it's very addicting and quirky, which is how all puzzle games should be. Although it has flaws this is one of my favorites when it comes to my small collection of unknown Super Nintendo gems. This game is unfortunately a forgotten gem, just like Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Paperboy 2, Hyperzone, Aladdin, Skuljagger, Gunforce, Tuff E Nuff, The Incredible Crash Dummies, and more that slipped under gamers radars that I would easily recommend picking up. So if you like collecting little odd gems for your old-school systems this game is a must-have.

I recently bought a super nintendo, and it came with Donkey Kong Country, Mortal Kombat 2, and Yoshi's Cookies. I am a huge fan of anything DK, and I love Mortal Kombat, I figured the Yoshi game would also be pretty good too because it has Yoshi in it. All Yoshi's cookies is, is Yoshi throws cookies and you have to line up I believe 5 of the same cookies to make the dissapear, once all the cookies are gone from a level you advance and it gets harder. I foudn it fun for the first 10 minutes, but after that it became so boring, and I haven't played it since. I recommend not buying this game, unless you have a young child or a little kid.
