Finally the eleventh volume of Kiyohiko Azuma's "Yotsuba&!" is out. A cute five-year-old girl Yotsuba is back with her delightful friends and neighbors, and her little slice of life adventures are about to begin. Below is the list of the chapters of the latest volume:

Yotsuba & Udon
Yotsuba & Pizza
Yotsuba & Bubbles
Yotsuba & Picking Chestnuts
Yotsuba & Camera
Yotsuba & Friends
Yotsuba & . . . . . .

Autumn has settled in and Yotsuba goes chestnut picking with Fuka and Shimau. But what does the last chapter's three-dot ellipses means? Pause or silence of what? See it for yourself.

In the first tale ever-curious Yotsuba drops in a traditional, family-run udon restaurant alone, where she watches how the flour noodle is made. With the realistically drawn backdrops of the place, the interaction between the little girl asking questions and the laconic master answering them is not only amusing but credible, just like any other episodes of the series.

While presenting a vivid and realistic description of life in Japan seen from a little girl's viewpoint, the comic also deftly shows how a kid learns how to behave appropriately, as seen in the previous volume's excellent "Niou-san episode," where her Daddy had to get rid of Yotsuba's bad "lying bug." This time she learns one thing - "Don't take a photo of someone without asking" - and she learns it from the most unexpected person. (I hope you remember him.) Not only that; later Yotsuba also teaches it to her Daddy.

The eleventh volume wraps up with a heart-warming episode about poor Juralumin, her Teddy Bear, which, because of one terrible (and, to us, hilarious) event, "smells like dog." Now it seems her Teddy Bear needs operation, but Asagi is there for help.

Ahh I love everything that is Yotsuba the manga. I'll first talk about the series in general and then a bit about what you'll find in book 11.

Yotsuba is a feel good manga series brought to you by the wonderful creator of Azu Manga Daioh: Kiyohiko Azuma. He has a way with characters and situations that just makes me feel happy reading his stuff. Yotsuba is about the life and adventures of a 4-5 year old girl and her father. The whole theme to Yotsuba is to enjoy everything.

In this wonderful book we see how Yotsuba reacts to Pizza, chest nut picking, and how she reacts to when her favorite stuffed animal is nearly wreaked. You can see yourself or even your children in little Yotsuba. If you like light hearted stories this is a series you should really look into.

I love Yotsuba, it's the only manga I read. But I am disappointed they take so long between books. But they never disappoint in story lines or illustrations. Look forward to #12 and do wish at some point they get more of the back story in there. Also I do hope she gets smarter as she enters school.

I've loved Yotsuba since the very beginning. The series is just too funny to pass up.

If you have a sense of humor and have read the manga from the beginning, pick this up.

I just love Yotsuba! She's so cute and so curious about everything. Her adventures in life and how the adults interact with her always brings a smile to my face. I'd recommend this for people who like kids and don't like kids. It's a great book to read from time to time and it's always entertaining.

P.S. I dislike kids but I love Yotsuba.

My husband and I are fans or this series. The humor surrounding Yotsuba is so spot on with simple little things that kids do that can be so hilarious. We are often laughing out loud and showing each other goofy expressions on the characters from the books. Love Yotsuba!

I love this volume for the examples of Yotsuba reacting to various different and new experiences (e.g., pizza). The series is clean and uplifting humor, more whimsical than any other manga series I'm aware of. The artwork and the tone are easy and refreshing.
