I found this book very fascinating, although at several point I had to stop and think: is this a spiritual book or is it Sci-fi? I would like to clarify that I am accustomed to reading channelled information. I have read many versions of the history of mankind and the almost certainty of extraterrestrial origins of man. I accepet that this is a strong possibility..But I do still carry my skeptic self with me and some of the information in the book about the ancient hystory of our planet seemed quite far fetched and contraddicted many othere books I have read before that resonated much more with me.Some of the things stated here just did not ring true to me, although i found the information describing the supposed civilization of Sirius very interesting.

I have written to the author , enquiring about some of the things I felt were most off key and have not received an answer as yet...will let you know!

As a read in itself, I found it very enjoyable.

Very interesting channelled book outlining an alternative version of earth history and the ET origins of man. Logically presented. Jam packed with info.

Loved the diagrams: The 8 dimesions; 13 Chakras; Photon Belt; Spiritual Heirarchy/Time Lords; Lyran/Vega path to Earth migration; Map of Lemuria/Atlantis/Yu Empire/Iona. All very helpful!

I'd also recommend: The Earth Chronicles by Sitchin ( probably the best researched info out there)and books by Pat Cori (The Sirian High Council) and Barbara Marciniak (The Pleaidians) .

I thought this book was WAY out there. Making dated comments on future events really set them in a corner. Well, here it is. . . WAY past 1996 when they said these strange things would be occuring, and there is nothing.
It was written in a way that someone would write a journal if they had a week to live. Comments and ideas seemed to spill onto the pages in no order really, but they made sense none the less. The descriptions and answers they seemed to have to questions shouldn't have been written so definitively. There was no room for symbolism or subtlety, so they dug themselves an hole which they must lie in now.
I thought this book would be a good general intro. to Galactic thoughts before I got into Sitchin's books, but I was let down. It was amusing, and made me laugh. I guess that was all I needed, and all you should expect from this book. Get into Z. Sitchin's stuff instead. It's more factual (meaning backed up with concrete evidence) and has a point to each chapter.

Without judging the entire channeled information deal as a whole, this book is an very interesting read. For the most skeptical, it can at least be a sci/fi fiction on Earth and Human history. On top of that, it is filled with a blend of spiritual, quantom physical, and alternative medical knowledge that many of us have started to be aware of in today's world. I would consider it slightly ahead of its time as being written in 1994. I would really hope what was written was true. Unfortunately the timeline has passed. Without reading the author's other books (although I have recently purchased Your First Contact), I don't know how he has planned to reconcile the missed event timeline specified in this book. I also found it to be rather "low-IQ" and puzzling for most "prophets" to be giving a timeline for an event - all of them seem to have failed to make things happen (yet they are still trying!). As much as I like the spiritual message presented in this book, it's a pity that the overall plot seems less and less convincing.

A few obvious disappointments:
- The whole deal about reptoid and dinotoid is a bit too comic/sci-fi story like.
- The simulatenous attack on the crystal temples seem a little bit too dramatic.
- The timeline of all major events starting at 35 million years ago were mostly in multi-million year intervals. If it took that many years for the highly advanced human race to evolve or make things happen, why are we so special that this past 2000 years can be of any significance?
- A total non-believer can easy claim that the author was trying to weave a story by mixing together all known pre-historical myths and events.
- The author built a lot of suspense at the beginning of the book about the Atlantean's genetic experimentations caused today's human race to be mutated/regressed and in a sub-conscious state, yet not a single example was given about these genetic experimentation.

That being said, I still find a lot of the author's points on spiritual growth inspirational and enlightening. I think any open-minded reader will find something useful in this book that can possibly open their minds even broader.

Though we are past some of the dates given in the book for certain events to occur, I found this book very spiritually and historically informative and enlightening, as well as encouraging,if read with inner guidance and intuition intact. If one is open to new ideas, possibilities and new ways of being for humans, one will enjoy reading this book.

What was going on, on planet Earth, before the Great Flood? We have no way of knowing. There are almost no physical records from that period. One source of information could be extraterrestrials, out of the 100 billion stars in our Galaxy, there has to be other inhabited planets. WE DON'T HAVE THE OLDEST SUN IN THE GALAXY, BY FAR. Tha mathematical odds are simply too great, and if you don't believe in odds, go tell a casino owner in Las Vegas and watch him laugh at you!---And probably, many have had and still have intelligent life, that is thousands, maybe millions of years ahead of us technologically. Were they using Earth as an outpost? Were they messing with the gene pool, and playing Gods? Did they get banned from Earth for doing that? Were they at war with the Reptilians? Did Reptilians evolve first in the Milky Way Galaxy? Reptiles came before mammals on Earth. The book answers these questions and many more from a higher source through trance channeling.

I put THAT PART of the book right up there with the other ET channel books by authors Royal,Anka. Marciniak. Most of the material presented is logical and adheres somewhat to common sense. The one outstanding difference, as opposed to to the other channeled info about that time (before the Great Flood) is------what actually caused the Great Flood and where did all the water come from??

The part of the book dealing with the erroneous prediction about the photon belt, and the complex contact bureaucracy Of the Galactic Federation I find less credible---if only they had left that part out.

Official First Contact from our star families will happen during our lifetimes and we deserve to know the true history of our Earth. To this end the Sirian star system has provided us excellant information to guide us in our understanding of this and the current state of Galactic affairs.

This book changed my life. It is well written and contains spiritual truths that I have not found elsewhere. Sheldan Nidle tells us about our extraterrestrial origins and true Earth history. It is a must read for all people ready to embrace their galactic and spiritual heritage.

This is a "must read" for anyone interested in ET's, Earth's TRUE history and the shift in consciousness that's coming. Some info is a little out-dated since this book was published in 1994 and is now out of print. However, Chapter five on "Earth's Forgotten History" is fascinating.
