Rivulets, or more accurately one Nathan Amundson, have obvious influences -- Sigur Ros, Low, Mark Kozelek in his various incarnations. My problem with You Are My Home is that Rivulets fail to transcend those influences or meld them into their own identity so that by the end of the CD I felt, "well, that was OK, but what's the point?" In other words, heard it all before. I burned the title track, Motioning, and Morning Light and filed the CD away, probably forever.
