About the Author
Daniel Hughes is the author of four books of poetry: Walking in a Tree, Lost Title, Falling, and Spirit Traps. A noted Romanticism scholar, Hughes has published criticism and reviews-much on the work of Shelley-in many journals and anthologies of critical articles and essays. He has also written on modern poetry and fiction for magazines. A Ph.D. from Brown University, he taught at Wayne State University from 1964 to 1988.
