Excellent Pointer to the True Self,

Gangaji's experience of the True Self shines through every chapter in this book. She describes both the pitfalls and the victories of attempting to recognize one's Self, which is eternally present and is revealed when one "dives into" any emotion (negative or positive). The key is non-resistance to our experiences and the accompanying reactions to day-to-day life. This is an excellent book for spiritual "seekers" on any level, but I particularly recommend the book to beginners, because Gangaji's descriptions of reality are not as obscure as those of many Eastern teachers (for example, Nisargadatta Maharaj).

This is serious stuff, by far the most important endeavor ever, waking up from the nightmare of lies we've been living. The more earnest and resolute you are about ending the search, the more I feel you will appreciate Gangaji's guidance. Sometimes she may shower you with peddles of peace, love and groove, koom-by-ya, hugs and kisses, but it's honey on a trap, a facade. She's out to kill you, kill what is false in you, that you will wake the hell up! She doesn't want your admiration -- she wants you to wake up. And she will crack you over the head with her staff of wisdom; get behind you and kick you and push you into the center of your own hottest hell....because that is the door way out. Have you really had enough suffering? If so, then you may very well find much needed and valuable guidance here. Guidance that will help take you to the center of what you have been running from your whole life (you've been warned). Her books are in a question answer format. Hurting people like you and me seeking help and asking questions, some, many perhaps, you will see as your own; and her answers and loving (though ruthless) guidance is yours too. Good luck.

Gangaji is such an excellent, life-changing teacher. Her books are amazing, but I always recommend her dvds. Hearing her voice and seeing her expressions are so helpful.
