About the Author

Masami Saionji is descended from the Royal Ryukyu Family of Okinawa. Educated in Japan and the United States, she is known internationally as the leader of the world peace prayer movement initiated by her adoptive father, Masahisa Goi. She has authored sixteen books in Japanese and five in English and other languages. She and her husband, the descendent of a Japanese prime minister, have three daughters.
