For pre-teens and younger teens who want a fact-based 'good scare', this is a fun book.

* Written as a fun book for children and young teens
* Could give nightmares to very young or impressionable children
* A variety of ghost stories and ghost-related activities

It includes stories, helpful information, how-to for ghosthunters, a few photos, some quizzes, and more.

It's not entirely accurate, in my opinion, but close enough to be a good introduction for children who are fascinated with the very real world of ghosts and ghost hunting.

As a parent, I'd probably buy this for any child over age 8 or 10, as long as they're well past the impressionable, nightmare-prone age. In addition, there are enough activities in this book to keep most children busy for quite awhile. If their interest is fleeting, this book will probably be enough amuse them until they choose a new subject to delve into.

The mix of fact and fun make this an excellent book for any child who's fascinated by ghosts and ghost stories.

This book gives tons of info on ghosts, from ghost hunting to ghost sightings! IT ROCKS! It even has an A-Z "parade of spooks" (a.k.a a glossary)!
