This book is divine inspiration. It gets you started. It gets you going. It encourages you to BUILD this big robot--and if you get stuck, you can ask any one of the HUNDREDS of B9 builders of the B9 Robot Builders Club (dot com) whom the author has a very close working relationship with. I bought this book. I built a B9 / Lost in Space Robot.

This book I would have to say is not very good. It has alot of pictures and very few details on exactly how to build alot of the robots parts. It does not have tell you any dimentions on how large parts should be. If you want to get the correct sizes you are instructed to go to a web site where the drawings can be purchased. I found more use full information myself on the internet.

The book is great for general advice and is also very cheap.
My only disappointment was a lack of decent blueprints and the dark photos. Having said that, the book does also refer to on-line help sites and offers for a few dollars more a disk with colour photos and extra chapters. I do feel that the disk would have been a nice extra that was included in the book. Overall a great buy for people with the desire for this hobby.
