The book is so powerful that I keep it in my briefcase. The book relates to all men, regardless of age, marital status or spiritual level. Pastor Jakes tends to almost read my mind when it comes to how we feel about my spouse and relationship with God. The book has a devotion for whatever situation you're going through. The book truly inspires me everytime I pick up to read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful... Wonderful... Thank God, December 28, 1999
This review is from: So You Call Yourself a Man?: A Devotional for Ordinary Men with Extraordinary Potential (Paperback)
From a woman's point of view I know that every man needs to read this book. Allow God to be first in your life. Love yourself enough to know that you can't do it alone. God is the only one who can heal the pain of the past and allow you to live today. God is good. Finally, the truth has been told. Get God and Get Ready.

5.0 out of 5 stars An inspiration to and for REAL men., February 4, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: So You Call Yourself a Man?: A Devotional for Ordinary Men with Extraordinary Potential (Paperback)
I shared this book with a couple of friends this past Christmas. It was my way of spreading the Gospel and telling them that it does pay to serve a true living God. Before giving it as a gift, I read it and it said all the things women want men to know about who they should be as men in Christ. The one message that resonates is that you must be in the place where your blessings are to receive them. God is waiting on men to come to that place, the blessing is already there. Bless Bishop Jakes for that insight.
