They're all "standard" socks - no toe socks etc. All are rated intermediate (three bars out of four) difficulty, and all have instructions for women's S/M/L shoe sizes. Most recommended yarn should be easy to find, but I don't believe all are ideal sock yarn fiber. From the pictures, these look to be "kick around the house" socks more than "wear under shoes" socks. First pair: fine/sport (2) yarn, size C hook, toe up construction. Second: super fine/sock (1), C hook, toe up, heel is sewn to finish. Third: light/DK (3), F hook, cuff down, sewn toe. Fourth: light worsted (3), F hook, cuff down, sewn toe. Fifth: light/DK (3), F hook, cuff down, sewn toe and heel. Sixth: light worsted (3), E hook, toe up. The booklet consists almost entirely of instructions for the socks, with one summary page of basic crochet techniques (i.e., stitches and abbreviations). If you're looking for any more general advice on crocheting socks, seam finishing, etc., you're looking at the wrong book. They're all "standard" socks - no toe socks etc. All are rated intermediate (three bars out of four) difficulty, and all have instructions for women's S/M/L shoe sizes. Most recommended yarn should be easy to find, but I don't believe all are ideal sock yarn fiber. From the pictures, these look to be "kick around the house" socks more than "wear under shoes" socks.

First pair: fine/sport (2) yarn, size C hook, toe up construction.
Second: super fine/sock (1), C hook, toe up, heel is sewn to finish.
Third: light/DK (3), F hook, cuff down, sewn toe.
Fourth: light worsted (3), F hook, cuff down, sewn toe.
