Book Description

June 1, 2001
Dr. Greene's second book is written for those whose doctors have told them that there is nothing more that they can do for them. Likewise, it is written for people of faith who have prayed for a healing miracle, and yet that miracle has not come. It presents three spiritual steps to adopting a fighting spirit in the quest for healing. It offers four practical, drug-free things that anyone can do, which will help them to feel better, suffer less, have more energy, know peace of mind, and discern a new sense of meaning and purpose in their life.

Editorial Reviews

Review

"What you will read in this book is Biblically grounded, theologically sound, scientifically rational, and very practical." --Rev. Dr. Mendel Adams

About the Author

Rev. Dr. Daryl Greene is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ. Yet he was born with a rare progressive neurological disorder that has left him almost blind and makes walking very difficult for him. He contends with chronic pain everyday, but he refuses to be defined by his circumstances. He continues to serve God and make the most of each day.

This book contains the inspiring story of how he has learned to overcome his limitations and pain. It also contains his prescriptions for coping with health challenges, based on his life experience and academic research
