Another excellent Learn To Sew video!, December 8, 2000
This review is from: You Can Make It - Learn to Sew - Level 3 (vhs) (VHS Tape)
I enjoyed Level 3 tape as much as the tapes for Levels 1 and 2. Once again, Pam takes you step by step in learning and applying techniques and skills to your garment making. I'm not new to sewing but I was a bit rusty on some techniques and I don't have a lot of free time to take classes outside of home. One of the things that I enjoy about this series of tapes is that she teaches skills that can be applied to other garments. As I reviewed a pattern that I am in the process of sewing, I realized that I wasn't certain about a particular technique that I needed to use. Not a problem. I took the level 3 tape, fast forwarded to the appropriate location, and reviewed it. A great addition to any sewer's library. I've already ordered Level 4 to increase my sewing skills! Another present to myself!

Better than taking a class, May 15, 2006
This review is from: You Can Make It - Learn to Sew - Level 3 (vhs) (VHS Tape)
I have the VHS 1-5 when I started I had already taken 2 classes at the local sew and vac store expense and fustrating because once I was home information went into one ear and out the other. In this video she reviews working with sheers material and ruffles. I could always stop the tape and review the material at my leisure. The only thing stoping me from giving it five stars is that it is dry and dull. Very informative but dry and in need of updating if you have do videos one and two you should ease into video three. She builds on your skills and prepares you for the next step in sewing.
