4.0 out of 5 stars pricey paperpack
This is a short book that helps bar takers to psych up for the exam. I liked the author's philosophy and advice to create a study schedule. However, it is a tiny paperback that should cost less than it does, especially on Amazon.com. I suggest that interested readers consult their local law career center or law library. This is a short book that helps bar takers to psych up for the exam. I liked the author's philosophy and advice to create a study schedule. However, it is a tiny paperback that should cost less than it does, especially on Amazon.com. I suggest that interested readers consult their local law career center or law library. One could read the heart of this book in about 30-60 minutes. If the author updated this book with substantive or statistical news, I would be more satisfied with the current price.

Perhaps Amazon.com could offer a student discount on this title?

4.0 out of 5 stars A somewhat inspirational book on bar exams., May 3, 1998

This review is from: You Can Pass Any Bar Exam (1 ed) (Paperback)
This book is really just 84 pages of substantive material, and costs $20. While the information in the book is valuable, I think that the price is out of line. The remaining pages of the book consist of tables of helpful information...but not all that helpful.

The book is encouraging and fun. It asks the reader to consider whether or not the reader REALLY wants to pass the bar exam... and offers suggestions for accomplishing this goal. The only complaint I have about the book is the price, but I paid it, and refer to it often during the bar exam preparation process.

1.0 out of 5 stars Useless Psycho-babble, May 4, 2010
This review is from: You Can Pass Any Bar Exam (1 ed) (Paperback)
Chapers on it is important to plan, create a study schedule, positive attitude, take a bar review course, eat right, get sleep, have friends, think positive! If you need to be told this, you never made it through law school. States the obviosu for idiots! Just useless new age nonsense and no practical advice on the actual exam itself. Your law library will have this, you can look at it for 5 minutes and toss it aside as crap. Very expensive and of no value.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolute Must, January 10, 2008
This review is from: You Can Pass Any Bar Exam (1 ed) (Paperback)
This book helped me organize my time and to see what the bar exam really was. A BIG hyped up test! Yes you have to study. Yes it is different from law school exams. But it is still a test you can prepare for and pass on the first try like I did.
