I think the book is interesting, I was thinking about making some of the recipes when I realized I wasn't following the instructions. Why? Because the font the instructions were written in is ridiculously hard to read. It's a very light color, and very spindly and all the instructions are bunched together leaving tons of white space where good instructions could have been printed. This is a styling fault that has made the book a waste for me. I've also commented under Crysmys's comment.

Allison Fishman's cookbook is filled with food I'm actually interested in eating. I enjoy cookbooks and cooking; I'm happy if one-third of the recipes in a cookbook are useful but in this cookbook I could see myself trying most if not all the recipes and I actually think my husband who hates everything will actually enjoy the food too. I recently lost 20 pounds and need to continue healthy eating so I look to Allison's book and find I don't have to abandon good food. I purchased this book and Ellie Krieger's books and I look forward to a whole new way of eating.

One more thing, most recipes have tips which are very useful. Allison answers all questions readers might have about certain ingredients or techniques. Also, her presentation is very entertaining so it reads like a book which is so engaging. I'm thankful to all the positive reviews which roped me in and welcome the opportunity to add my voice to the AMEN corner. Get the book, you won't be sorry..

Such a great cookbook. I don't feel like I'm sacrificing flavor! There is something in this cookbook for every taste, every meal, every craving. Plus it contains all the nutritional info. A must buy!

Love it! Love Ellie Krieger and Cooking Light and she has ties to both. Everything I've tried from the cookbook has been delicious - crispybread with avocado and egg, apple parsnip soup, lemon orzo pasta, greek salad, cheddar apple maple salad, seared lemon rosemary chicken and gemilli with proscuito and goat cheese.

I refer to this cook book a lot!!!!! This is a thoughtful cook book. A lot of cookbooks contain "filler" as in they just threw in some half wit recipes to have enough pages for their book....not this one!!!!!! I can not wait for this woman to put out another cook book. Almost every recipe in this book I have tried have been slammin!!!!

I'm hooked on all these ladies from the Cook Yourself Thin Series on Lifetime. I absolutely love that they give you cooking tips, how and whys on everything you could imagine. Some swaps you can start adding in other meals / deserts, it's just that easy.
