This review is from: You Can't Do That Dan Moody (Hardcover)
Meant for younger readers it still was good info about the KKK. How they would start in a community and what they said to get people interested. The law or lack of was interesting. Gave info about the time period.

Texas Politics,
By
This review is from: You Can't Do That Dan Moody (Hardcover)
Politics are always wild and wonderful and never more so than in Texas. This biography of Dan Moody, written for the Young Adult crowd, is an entertaining and concise way to learn about one of Texas's more colorful governors. Dan Moody tackled the Klu Klux Klan during the 1920's, a time they were a power in Texas. Moody not only surived, but he actually made a serious dent in the powerful organization. This small but effective book is an excellent way to get information about one of the more interesting Texas govenors during one of Texas' wilder eras. |
