Dear 2-star Michael,

Perhaps you should take a long break from listening to Rihanna until she releases jams that you like. You Da One is the perfect midtempo fun reggae jam, and Rihanna's corny side is what some of us love about her. The song is pure, unapologetic, unpretentious, fun pop that the majority loves.

I really like this song. Its really catchy and it expresses how a certain special someone can make you feel when your in love. She has a nice voice and the hook is very addictive and really brings the song together. Don't listen to the haters. If you dont like rihanna's music amazon lets you sample the track before you buy it slow person! Love this JAM!!!

When it has came right down to Rihanna, she has honestly been one of the most overexposed artists of the past several years, whom has honestly made some of the most corny songs to have ever came out of the industry. I was honestly not even close to thrilled with the songs she did from both Rated R and Loud. For her latest single, You Da One, the second song from her lackluster record Talk That Talk, she tries to bring in a bit more reggae in her voice. Yet, she has honestly weakened it with each note she tries to sing, drowned out by the dance beats of the song. I think Rihanna should just take a very long break, and try not to make anymore cornball music.
