Just want to make a note, since no one seems to be pointing this out :

The PC version of this game does not feature online multiplayer or the 4-player local play that many old YDKJ fans are accustomed to. Instead, there's only a local 2 player option. It won't affect the overall gameplay much, but you'll miss out on some of the exciting multiplayer features (ex: "screw"ing another player)

Meanwhile, the console version (X360, PS3) of this game does feature online multiplayer and 4-player local play.

For me, that is quite a big deal breaker, cause YDKJ is most fun with a bunch of friends.

Just FYI.

I am a late bloomer to YDKJ, but I have extracted so much enjoyment and stupid jokes from this game. The game is great for parties, but also a lot of fun by yourself.
You answer trivia questions from every part of academia while cracking up at stupid puns, double entendres, and very funny jokes being told by Cookie Masterson, the bodiless voice that hosts the game. This is not a Regis Philbin type host. He will mock you for getting questions wrong. And it's hysterical.
The questions are of high caliber, and typically expect you to know two separate things to answer the question correctly. For example, you may be asked to identify the Sesame Street character that is the color "mauve" or equivalent questions where you are drawing knowledge from very different parts of your brain. It's funny, it's NOT easy trivia, and each episode (Of which there are 73!) lasts around 10 minutes.

First off ignore the reviewers who clearly didnt read the system requirements because it requires Steam, one of the best platforms to acquire and play pc games. I used to love these when I was younger and this is more of the same, in a good way. Highly recommended if you like quirky, silly trivia games.

If you love trivia, and you only want to play with 1 other person sitting next to you, this game is awesome. If your hope was to play online against friends or others, this game does not have that capability. Sorry.

Aside from that, the game is funny, entertaining, and a whole lot of fun. Keep in mind, it is the exact same game they sell on xbox 360 and PS3, so you won't be getting any different questions if you already own it on one of those systems.

I also wanted to mention that some reviewers were upset you needed to use "Steam" to play the game. Steam is a game portal, and if you are a casual gamer, you may not have heard of it, but its actually HUGELY popular with most PC gamers. It's a great application, with TONS of game sales. If you like $3 games... you really should check out steam. I understand reviewers lower rating since they did not realize it was "activated" through steam - Just don't pass on this game because of it without actually checking out Steam. Using Steam is free, so don't think you are getting bamboozled into some scam. :)

I've only played 3 of the 73 episodes, but so far, pure Jack. But listen to the rules the first time out.

Great throwback -- like the originals, you are a participant in a trivia game show. It's seamlessly produced/directed and a lot of fun to play.

Requires Steam for installation. Running this on Windows 8 and no compatibility issues.

this game is fun and enjoyable. You can play single player or with other person (but only in a local 2 player option - because multiplayer feature is not availlable in this version). HDD space req for install game: 4550mb. if You are fan YDKJ in non smartphone version this could fullfill Your needs.

It was fun for a while, but becomes annoying. As with most computer games these days, you can unlock more with more purchases.

Our familiy loves this game! It is very fun and entertaining. Some of the content can be a litte racy, but in a humourous way. That is why it is rated T for Teens.
