This CD is very, very, very good. There are all sorts of influences...maybe a little folk, rock, blues, and whatever else. Definitely for fans of the Espers, Neko Case, PJ Harvey, etc.Very solid music, with an emphasis on absolutely amazing drumming by Jim White (from Dirty Three and Cat Power's Dirty Delta Blues Band). It's simply amazing guitar work coupled with mindblowing drums, I am not sure what else to say. Ten songs, roughly over thirty minutes. Folks...listen to the songs on the band's myspace site and if you dig them: buy the CD. It really grows on you. Solid music here, I hope they do another album like this.

Nothing else sounds like this one. The lyrics are wondrous. The drumming is all over the place, where you least expect it. This music fills the air in ways I've never heard before.
