5.0 out of 5 stars top shelf industrial, March 13, 2005
This review is from: You Goddamned Son of a Bitch (Audio CD)
It does not get any better than this. This is not only in my opinion the best REVCO record, but this is also one of the best industrial releases EVER. This record demonstrates just how talented these REVCO boys are and proves that this is something that can be replicated but certainly never duplicated. This is Al Jourgenson and co.'s strongest release in my opinion even edging out The Land Of Rape And Honey, and Psalm 69 of Al's Ministry catalog. If you are looking to pick up some real industrial music, I highly recommend this record for your collection, and any other REVCO release for that matter.

This is it. Of any revolting cocks album this one packs a punch that leaves you beggin for it. back in tha day you could get the video but that is now long discontinued (please bring it back tvt or whoever has it now). This is the period in time when they used to bring animals onstage and druged out half naked women. on this album they bring their big sexy album to you live in a screaming frenzy. why does al insist on making drone rock when this was his finest style, the world may never know. nuf said. if you dont have this yet, and you love early industrial get it.... the cover makes it all worth while as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Al where would we be without you, January 14, 2003
This review is from: You Goddamned Son of a Bitch (Audio CD)
This album is hilarious. It tells people not to be ashamed of living on Earth just because there are shootings because "it's like that everywhere". I know that this is a live album version of Big Sexy Land but it's [darn] near impossible to get an album of these guys here in Ireland so when I got it....I felt like a little kid in a candystore.

The music is brilliant and well really there's not much else to say because the album is well and truly awesome. Interestingly this album has gone in Rolling Stones' Funniest Album Titles segment. Anyway enough rambling buy the album and there will be no disappointment

5.0 out of 5 stars "SALUTE ME....", July 29, 2002
This review is from: You Goddamned Son of a Bitch (Audio CD)
This is the best live album of the whole WAX TRAX/Industrial era! The video was played hundreds of times at my house in the late 80's, and I still put this on in headphones a few times a year. The sound recording is better than anything recorded at the Metro up to that point. The interaction with the crowd, the variations of samples and lyrics, and the extra drunkeness towards the end make this the finest of all REVCO releases. "You Often Forget" is amazing, my favorite all time WAX TRAX album cut!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Live Album Ever, July 10, 2009
This review is from: You Goddamned Son of a Bitch (Audio CD)
I was at the concert this was recorded at. RevCo at Cabaret Metro in Chicago. The opening band got booed off stage. I wish I actually remember what band it was. I know it was a female lead singer and she was awful. My mind wishes it was Courtney Love, but I'm not sure. Much of the expletive screaming between tracks on this album are the booing of the crowd toward the opening act and the lead singer screaming back at the crowd, telling us to do something which is, for the most part, physically impossible. Was a great concert and the recording captures it quite well.

I am not one to glorify crap like everyone else does. This live album is all that is left of old Revolting Cocks songs. They use pleasurable loops of about 10 seconds and put on an amazing performance. Their lyrics are all evil, and I think these guys are not the first to mix amazing music with evil lyrics. It is a good combination, not that I like evil.
