Easy to read understandable book about our quardian angels and how we relate to them. I read it in one day. No home library should be without a copy.

This review is from: Do You Have a Guardian Angel?: And Other Questions Answered about Angels (Paperback)
I heard this author as a guest on Coast to Coast radio show, and hence ordered a couple of his angel books. This book is a good little review of angel lore and literature. I was actually sorry when I got to the end of it, because I'd have welcomed more.

I sometimes underline text, while making notes in the margins. This book was thought-provoking enough that I did this often. I brought with me an appreciation for angels, and the text broadened and deepened that appreciation.

My one dissatisfaction was with an absence of footnotes. This was very frustrating to me! The text mentions many outside sources but without proper references. For example, the author may indicate that a historical figure saw angels as such and such, but rarely are exact citations offered. Surely the author had these sources at hand when he wrote the book. Some are listed at the back, but how in the world could one plow through those to find the citations he utilized? I wondered if the author didn't quite realize that readers may have wanted to go to his sources to explore them more deeply.

The text is upbeat, with thoughtful questions frequently inserted. Due to the manner in which it's written, this might be a good book to introduce children to the subject of angels. For any age, however, the content can definitely stimulate faith imagination around angels, and that's a good thing.
