I first heard this song when CMT aired the video back in the mid 90's and drove the evening DJ at WDEN in Macon, Ga crazy with my request for it nightly. I was hooked. The song is pure country, romance and Steve Murray's voice is magic.
I spent 23 hours on a wayward Greyhound bus to meet them in 1996 and have seen them many times since. I was also fan #38 in the fan club. They split for a while, but have reunited. I hope you all down in the Texas area give them your support - they'll have mine when they come back up my way here in Illinois. We need a real country group back on the country charts. |
