Go out and buy this CD right now if you are a trance fan, as it contains some of the best new tracks for 2005. Johan Gielen (one half of the big remix/DJ team Svenson & Gielen) mixes and ecclectic collection of high energy and melodic instrumental trance, with just a few vocal tracks thrown in, including the smash hit of the year thus far, Find by the Ridgewalkers featuring El. Everyone has been spinning the Andy Moor Mix, which you will find on here, but you should seek out the even better Kyau vs. Albert remix which will be on their new mix CD Positive Ways 4 released late Feb.

Johan's mixing is incredibly flawless through nearly all of the CD, as you BARELY feel that you've passed into the next track, and through a few transitions, you can't even tell.

Johan's 2 solo tracks are very good, with Flash being the standout, as it's a incredibly fast, banging track. Wait 'til you hear the track San Andreas by Miller and Fijneman (DJ Cor Fijenman that is) and get to 3:30 into it, as it literally blows up and will leave your jaw on the floor! Some great new tracks from Re: Locate, Airscape, and Solid Globe can also be found here.

One HUGE error is that track 4 IS NOT Alt+F4, but rather Surrender by Above & Beyond presents Tranquility Base, which is quite alright because I think it's a much better track!! Alt+F4 is not found on here at all!

GO out and BUY this if you want a super mix and all the latest trance!!

Trance is evolving and FOR YOU keeps pace with the hot new sounds marking the progressive movement of today. It is, as a former reviewer said, a mixture of high energy and melodic trance, with some songs being quite eclectic (this is especially true of the 2 tracks by Mr. Gielen).

My favorite tracks are 2-4 and 9-11, with "Gravity" (by P.O.S.), "Mission 7" (by Vadik), and "Absoluum" (by Re:Locate) being the standouts.

Mr. Gielen's mixing is near perfection and he obviously has a gift for track selection as well. One can almost guarantee that all trance lovers will find this collection to be "candy for their ears." So, I will cease whetting your appetite....buy the cd and allow this sonic pleasure to gratify your senses!

The Ridgewalkers' track Find is the same track on Andy Moor's release In session 02. A lot of high energy trance makes for a good compilation. Good synthesizer sound effects and definitely a danceable cd. Buy it only if you are a true trance fan. I might pick up Revelations as well, so it is a building block to getting to know Johan Gielen.

A perfect example of the kind of trance I don't like. However, there's one song on here that is an absolute monster anthem for me. It's Re:Locate's "Absoluum". But this album isn't worth buying even for that gem. I give this album 1 Star!
