We purchased this book, along with Where is Maisy?, for our baby when she was only 4 months old and both quickly became her favorites. 5 months later she still reaches for these 2 consistently. Do You Know New holds her attention for its sing-song rhythm, colorful pictures, and she seems to really focus on the wonderfully illustrated childrens' faces. It's a great starter book for babies, even the very young.

This is my baby's favorite book. We started reading this to her when she was just a few weeks old and the text has a great rhythm, which she loves. At 10 months now, she picks that book out and loves to flip through it. It's a durable book, has been with us everywhere, and is a good size and light weight that it's perfect for little hands.

The illustrations are great - not the blinding primary colors you often see in some baby books.

We bought this book when our daughter was a newborn and she's always loved it! Now that she's two, she still gets a kick out of reading it! However, I recommend that you not buy this item online because there's a mirror on the last page and some copies of the book have a blurry mirror! You're better off buying it in a store to make sure that the book isn't defective!

We first checked this book out from the library and our baby loved it so much that I was online within a few days to buy it. The text is beautiful and my baby loved to listen to it and turn the pages by himself. All we have to do it set him on our lap and pick up this book and his face lights up with glee. He'll even stay still while we read it to him 3 or 4 times. Quite a feat for a 9 month old! Definitely worth the money!

This was the first book I purchased for my son; despite it's very durable construction he has loved it to pieces! He loved the pictures from the first time he saw them, and now that he's learning to talk he loves to "oooh" along with the simple yet clever rhyme.

Book had tons of crayon marks all over it on the inside. I will be very hesitant to buy another used book online...

I first bought this for my nephew when he was born. I have a picture of him at about 3 months listening to his mother read it and loving it! Now I buy six at a time and give them as baby shower gifts. I teach kindergarten and I know the best thing you can do for your child before they go to school is give them a love of books by reading to them everyday! This book is a great way to start.

Excellent! I got this as a recommendation from another mom who's baby liked this book best out of all his books. My baby developed an interest in this book before all others.

My baby received this book as a gift, and he loves it. The words are written in a lyrical style and are very expressive when read aloud. It is genius in its simplicity. The pictures of little kids are bright and colorful, and there is a mirror on the last page ("Do you know you?"). Great for newborns and up.
