Amy's vocals are amazing!

This song is good as a lounging song, but the beat makes it very dance-able too.

This is a great song that has some definite staying power but check out the CD's hidden track, a remix of this song. Adds another dynamic to the song that pushes it over the top.

Marge Simpson hair, funny make-up, unfortunate teeth and of course the obligatory tats. Add in the usual crazy artist and rehab stuff. I was certainly prepared to dislike her. Then I heard some of her cuts and realized that she is a rare talent who sings interesting and musical songs.

I like her deep, dark voice and the complex musical stuff she does. It is actually amazing to me that she has so many fans because she is certainly not mainstream. It is proof of her talent that so many people are able to dismiss her strangeness and just enjoy her music. My fear is that she will be like Janis Joplin, a meteor that flames out too soon.

I suggest that you listen to her stuff, get an idea of what she does and overlook the weirdness. You might become a fan if you aren't one now.

Amy Winehouse's "You know I'm no good" is at once tongue-in-cheek and poignant. Winehouse embodies the self-destructive diva. This song at once mocks and celebrates that. She sings of her husband's devotion, but her constant refrain is "you know I'm no good." Considering her drug problems, her husband's trial&imprisonment, her recent racist video, her catastrophic recent live concert... she is sadly prophetic. "You know I'm no good" outshines "Rehab" with its brashness and insight. There's a certain level of pathetic self-knowledge here.

"You know I'm no good" has a '60s sound, evoking the Ronettes, Dusty Springfield... yet it is tragically relevant.

Can't stop listening to this song especially when I am driving. Amy Winehouse was very talented. It's a pity that she was gone so early.

It is honestly such a shame whenever someone is tortured and talented throws their life away. For the recent passing of Amy Winehouse, it is another tragedy in the tale of a talent gone too soon. She was a good singer, but honestly made so many heartbreaking misteps from drug abuse, to a failed marriage with Blake. Her hit You Know I'm No Good from Back To Black, paints a deep portrait of someone whom was troubled that never found her muze. The song was good at the time when I first heard it a few years ago, now I just honestly found it hard to listen to. It is a nice download to own for anyone whom is just discovering Amy Winehouse, because of her sadness of going too soon.

This is one of my favorite Amy Winehouse songs. Rehab got all the attention, but I think this song is the best. The vocal melodies are very interesting, and the rhythm is very hopping. This song is good as a lounging song, but the beat makes it very dance-able too.

Why did it take me so long to see my errors? How could have I missed the messages
and now I think back and I know I'll do it all over again... only this time differently...
cuz I'm so freaking curious
and it kills me
to know that I gotta KNOW

Love this song! I first heard it as the theme song to the British show Secret Diary of a Call Girl. The song as that classic Jamaican beat that Amy is known for. The lyrics are pretty deep to when you think about how they apply to Amy's life.
