Donell Jones (born May 22, 1973 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American R&B singer, songwriter and record producer. He is most notable for the hits "U Know What's Up," "Where I Wanna Be," and his cover of Stevie Wonder's "Knocks Me Off My Feet". Jones rose to fame in the late 1990s with the release of his second album, Where I Wanna Be.

This particular Single has a smooth -ass rhythmic flow that's unstoppable!. The instrumental alone can truly vibe you. Donnell smooth anyway, but he outdid himself on this one, no doubt. When played in a top club in NY even the bar attendants and coat checkers danced as they served . The whole place was set in motion!!!

When I first heard this song on the radio I had to buy my own copy. This song is the bomb! A true party/club jam! I found it on Amazon.com and had it delivered. When the CD arrived at work, I put "U Know What's Up" on repeat play on my computer for the rest of the day. Donell Jones -- you are the man!

This song is so tight...I was at a club in San Francisco on Saturday night and the DJ (through the crowd's encouragement) played this joint 5 TIMES IN A ROW...everyone was moving and having fun...this song is destined for greatness...
