We have all heard the rapp from the USA. Trouble is a lot of it is now tired and the same as the album before. It lost its cutting edge ages ago.
GLC are unique in that they produce music which is so radical that it takes the listner into a world they will never imagine existed. Newport is a rough house sort of place, with lots of trouble and desperate council estates. Its been bad boy for years. GLC simply tell it like it is and are not afraid to tell the truth about where they live. Truth is.. a lot of British cities are the same. Here the music and weep.
