4.0 out of 5 stars Sweetness follows
Milosh has made a beautiful thing. The influences are eclectic, from R&B to electronica, but the album doesn't veer from one style to another. It's all integrated. Somewhere in the space between Cocteau Twins, Barbara Morgenstern, and D'Angelo, there's this beguiling flow that's Milosh's own. As Brian Eno said in an interview once, I like albums that go into a mood and...

3.0 out of 5 stars The day we left town
If this were an all instrumental album, it would be nearly a 5 star disc. The downtempo/IDM beats are superb... but then he sings R&B over top of it!??? His voice sounds a bit like Sade, which is an amazing voice, but it does not go with this music very well (in my opinion, of course). I guess I was just disappointed because of all the glowing reviews, but I can only...

As Brian Eno said in an interview once, I like albums that go into a mood and just stay there, rather than the old rock tradition of fast, slow, fast, etc. The mood here is love, there's no other word for it. I could of course be mistaken, but my impression is of total, adorable sincerity. If I were a girl I'd really want to meet this guy. I'd be dreaming about him... though it's obvious he's already in love with someone else.

4.0 out of 5 stars reality!, January 16, 2006
This review is from: You Make Me Feel (Audio CD)
The importance of this album will not be felt for some time, which being unfortunate is the reality. Some say that the R&B vocals are not meant for electronic. This is a farce; hip-hop studio producers and DJ's have been laying down similar tracks for years. This album seems to push the envelope just a little further. While I find this album to be a breath of fresh air, the tracks under the vocals are by all means not ground breaking. That stated, I do look forward to more from this gentleman

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow..., December 15, 2004
This review is from: You Make Me Feel (Audio CD)
This album is transcendent. The beauty and the soul of this boy's music will have you floating. Although this album is phenomenal (yes, and transcendent...go figure) I really think this album points towards even better things to come. I see him one day making an album that will be very special. I really want to see him in concert. And apparently he and his entourage are super hot!!! (Bonus!) I plan on taking some of my girlfriends to see his show when he visits. You should too!

5.0 out of 5 stars Pulling Nostalgic Heartstrings, January 11, 2012
This review is from: You Make Me Feel (Audio CD)
Music and a voice with a lot of soul, but not with the R&B soul most are used to. This is refreshing and original while still being reminiscent to artists you've heard before and feelings you've often felt, in the best way possible. If you could imagine vocalist, Xavier Boyer of Tahiti 80 during the time-period of their "Wallpaper For The Soul" LP merged with The Notwist's keyboardist, Martin Gretschmann (aka Console), to write and produce an album of toned down, sensitive, soul, as if put together as a release for Ghostly International records, than you can probably imagine somewhat what this album is like. Although I'm really into Milosh's "iii" and "Meme" LP's, this album gets more repeat listens and is one I will be coming back to for many years to come. Beautiful stuff and highly recommended, and a great place to start with Milosh.

5.0 out of 5 stars The birth of Milosh, January 8, 2011
This review is from: You Make Me Feel (MP3 Download)
It's hard to believe this album came out in 2004. It was soooo ahead of it's time. When I place Milosh's albums side by side, I have a hard time remembering which one came out first. It's timeless music that never gets boring. His downtempo production reminds me of Mezzanine and his voice is silky and smooth reminding me of Chris Martin from Coldplay. He's got his own unique style that will hold it's place on my ipod to 10 for a VERY LONG TIME !! 9/10.

5.0 out of 5 stars Phenom ! WOW MILOSH !!!!, January 7, 2011
This review is from: You Make Me Feel (MP3 Download)
There needs to be more of this kind of music in the mainstream ! Milosh makes Cinematic music with melodies that actually make you feel the emotion he's expressing. I just bought his whole catalog. His album "meme" is by far my favorite. Keep churning out that music and I'll keep buying it !

5.0 out of 5 stars Very relaxing and intriguing album, June 24, 2008

This review is from: You Make Me Feel (Audio CD)
It's hard to put an album into words. I found this album very chill/relaxing and it was a joy to listen to. Milosh has a very unique way of mixing, it's part clique hop with his vocals mixed in. "You make me feel" is an awesome song. Looking forward to more from Mr Milosh. Check out his myspace for free samples. I found this artist through "Groove Salad" which is an internet radio station broadcast by SOMA FM in California.

His voice sounds a bit like Sade, which is an amazing voice, but it does not go with this music very well (in my opinion, of course). I guess I was just disappointed because of all the glowing reviews, but I can only listen to the couple intrumentals on this cd. It's frustrating because I can hear a fantastic album that is sadly drowned by the vocals. If Sade-esqu R&B vocals over glitchy downtempo IDM sounds great to you, then this is your record.
