Moz fan or not, this is just good stuff....that being said, THANK GOD FOR MORRISSEY!, February 27, 2008
This review is from: You, Me And Morrissey (Paperback)
That was an amazing read!!! This gift of a book had me swept up in the rapture that it is, from the very first line. I found myself bursting into laughter, covering my mouth in shock and tears all too often fell from my eyes straight to their pages. In its brutal honesty of childhood, coming of age, marriage, family, love, passion, health, work and the daily choices that ultimately become what we look back on to be, life, "You, Me and Morrissey" gives the sorely needed breath of fresh air of humor and acceptance of that journey just as it is in all its flaws and unsung victories.
To the authors: Thank you so much for sharing your painfully common and tortured story with the all too familiar soundtrack of some of the best music on the planet! In your honest and beyond brave dissertation of the fractures and dewy valleys of your lives you have let all of us find kindred spirits and a home within your pages. Thank you for your generosity of soul, you are my hero's!
To the other readers:
You will find yourself, as did I, instantaneously in love and lust for the two of these men and their crafts of truth and searching for love and acceptance not only in life and others, but ultimately within themselves. I'm sure you will find, as did I, a piece of your own heart and story immortalized with "You, Me and Morrissey".

I Started Something I Could Finish, January 18, 2008
This review is from: You, Me And Morrissey (Paperback)
"You, Me and Morrissey" is a glorious time capsule of a time both exhilarating and terrifying. Throughout each vignette you sense the oppressive dread of South Texas combined with the shimmering hope contained in Morrissey's lyrics that someone is out there who understands.
You don't have to be a Smiths nut to appreciate the book, but it certainly helps. Like no other lyricist in modern memory, Steven Patrick Morrissey has the unique ability to cut to the heart of a matter with ruthless precision. As with many children of the 80s, Nasseri and Starr effectively relate the impact that music had on their development.
Sometimes chilling, often hilarious and always interesting, "You, Me and Morrissey" is a must read for both Smiths fans and disaffected youth of all ages.
