This book is done by National Geographic so you know that the photos are absolutely beautiful of the families from around the world. The last page shows a globe and shows where the families are from hopefully showing your children that even though we all may look different we are all the same, we all smile in the same regardless of the language and we all bleed red blood.

This book is beautifully written and illustrated. The photographs are touching potrayals of parents and their kids and the obvious love between them. The book has a world map and more information about the families shown throughout the book. It provides an excellent opportunity to discuss other cultures and the ways that we are all the same.
