5.0 out of 5 stars Birk has done it again!, March 26, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: You Might Be in a Country Church If... (Paperback)
Move over, Jeff Foxworthy or take a seat in the pew. Ron Birk has jumped on that wagon and softened the humor just enough to make a perfect stocking stuffer for everyone in the family. Birk's humorous thoughts are proven successful many times over before he puts them down in books. A professional speaker, Birk presents after dinner and keynote speeches for groups across the country and receives accolades everywhere he goes for his Texas hill country brand of wit and wisdom. Between these dinners, and his monthly column in the Southwestern Texas Synod Lutheran Church newspaper, he has a good audience on which to test his material. As an athletic director said, "Where else can you find a minister who is also a goat rancher, a TV performer and an after dinner speaker? What a combination." Features Editor, San Marcos (TX) Daily Record.
