This book is one that caught me by surprise, in that it touched my heart with a powerful Spirit right from the beginning. This is a powerful book...that shows just how much God truly loves us.
Trish Hart had a rocky start in life and an even rockier experience as a drug dealer. She epitomized the ideal karma centric lifestyle that was prevalent in the 90's among those in the business. She stayed driven and scared at the same time, while running a business that would guarantee a lengthy stay in the penitentiary.
In the County jail where she spent most of her 44 month sentence, she discovered who sent her to jail...it was God and she was stunned and convicted...all at once!
Trish Hart is someone that God filled with his love and then used her as a distribution center to touch the hearts of everyone she came in contact with.
She oozed His love everywhere she went...she struggled with the tangled thoughts about the son she had left behind, until she found out that he was doing well and adjusting marvelously well under new circumstances...praising God all the way.
I don't know Trish well, however this book makes me want to be a huge fan of what she has become as she stayed in support of the same husband she started the jail/prison adventure with so many years before. Her husband is also a tremendously strong man and someone I highly respect for what he did in trying to take the fall for her. He is also a huge support and compliments her ministry in every way. I would like to lift them up and use them as role models for so many couples that are experiencing difficult situations at any stage of their lives. God continues to use Trish and her husband for His purposes, every day. She has climbed the corporate ladder where she works through her honesty and love for Christ, which from what I understand has benefited the business tenfold.
You are Never Alone should be required reading for every jail inmate that is entering the system under the same or similar circumstances.

I highly recommend this book not just for jail and prison inmates, but for anyone who feels they are searching for Truth.

Praise God for the life of Trish Hart.

This is one of the best prison ministry related books I've ever read. I could not put the book down once I started it. One minute I was laughing and two seconds later tears were flowing down my face. If this is Hart's first book, I can just imagine what the future will bring for this talented and gifted young lady. "You Are Never Alone" needs to be in every prison and jail in the world. However, it is not limited to just convicts. It will change anyone's life who reads it.
