I have had this CD for well over a year and it is top notch. Art Vargas has a great voice and style that is unique and refreshing. I have been to the Vargas Show many times in Las Vegas Nevada and it is as good a show as you will see anywhere. His arrangements and band are great and Vargas himself is a trip. He dances and sings and well you will just have to see it when in Vegas. Back to the CD. All great songs with excellent sounding band and arrangements. If you want a CD that you will play over and over again this is the one. When in Vegas do not miss Vargas, he is Vegas best retro-tainer.

I was lucky enough to catch an Art Vargas performance while in Las Vegas this spring and purchased the "Perfect Stranger" CD from Art himself at Bally's Indigo Lounge. Art has captured something lost in much of today's music... style and an uncompromising performance that draws from the very soul of the music he clearly lives and breaths... This CD is no exception... skip the pretenders and hear the real thing... I don't often spend $20 for a CD but for this one, I didn't blink twice... The arrangements are fresh and the musicianship is second to none.
