I am a coordinator of Youth Ministry at a Catholic Parish and this is a great resource. A must have for anyone in ministry....and a must have for any believer. This new updated version of the book is pastoral and theologically firm...all around it is excellent. As adults we can fall into the trap that "oh understanding and living chastity is for teens only". Nothing could be further from the truth as living love, chastity and self-control under the Lordship of Jesus Christ is a lifelong process. Christopher West does amazing work also in this area but for those teens and adults that have never really been introduced to these concepts....I would start with this book before moving on to Christopher West's work. Working with teens has taught me many things but one of the critical things is that if you are not living...or trying to live your faith...especially in the sensitive area of sexuality they will check you right out and not pay any attention. I don't blame them as we need to be practicing what we preach and preach what we practice. Parents that don't know how to go about having "the talk" with your teens about sex and relationships...do yourself a favor and get this book. Read it...live it...then go and teach your teens.

Every adult and teenager would benefit greatly from this book; I recommend it to every parent of teenagers that I know. Best one on the market.
