5.0 out of 5 stars 15 Years Later, I Still Think About This Book.
I read this book when it first came out and I was in the 5th Grade. Now, 15 years later I looked it up and found it again; it has stuck with me all this time. I know that when I read it (at age 10) it really made me put myself into the place of the main character and touched me so deeply I can still remember the title and the story today. I would definitely recommend...

1.0 out of 5 stars The Review By Tina-Marie

I didn't like this book because it was so dragged out and it felt like I have been reading it for a million years. I am a fast reader and I do get through books fast but I am so glad that I am finished.
The book starts out were everyone in the book is healthy and fine. There is a girl named Hattie. She is not very popular; she has one friend named Robin...

5.0 out of 5 stars You Shouldn't Have To Say Good-bye, April 2, 2002
By
This review is from: You Shouldn't Have to Say Good-Bye (Paperback)
You Shouldn't Have To Say Good-bye. This is a very good book. I think this book really shows you what it's like to lose someone you love the most. But at the same time it give you a message about loving your family, because you don't know when you're going to lose someone you love the most. I really like this book, this book helped me to understand that I am not the only one who lost my mother in the same situation. I was 14 years old when I lost my mother. I recommend this book it's sad, but at the same time it's a good and interesting book.

5.0 out of 5 stars I remember...., October 3, 2011
This review is from: You Shouldn't Have to Say Good-Bye (Paperback)
I read this book back when it first came out. I believe I was in 4th or 5th grade. I always had this book on my mind growing up. Always tried searching for it since I
couldn't remember the author or title....just what it was about. I just thought of looking it up again. I found it. This book meant so much when I was a little girl. Never
lost anyone to cancer. But about 28 years later.....My mom dies from cancer. I plan on buying this book and re-reading it and keeping it forever. Great book. It is sad but
a great read for anyone~ I highly recommend this book~

This book is by far the best liked book in my reading class. We have read this book in my fifth grade class for the last eight years. The book gives us an opportunity to discuss many issues confronted by youg kids while growing up. It also provides an opportunity to discuss death and the loss of a loved one. The students and I have had many heart wrenching talks while reading this book. Many tears have been shed by my students while reading and discussing this book. This is my all time favorite book to read in class.

This review is from: You Shouldn't Have to Say Good-Bye (Paperback)
You shouldn't have to say good-bye, is an extraordinary book that shows the bond between mothers and daughters that we all take for granted until something tragic happens. This book made me realize how lucky I was to have my mother. It also makes you think about how life would be without your mother around to talk to. I reccommend Everyone read this book. When you do I'm sure you'll feel the same way I do
