Great Easy Listening,

You Took Me In This was my first exposure to Kerry Politzer and I was pleasantly surprised. She has a terrific voice and can cover a wide genre of music. My particular favorite on this CD is "I Cried Wolf." It's a little more rock than some of the others which tend to be more light jazz. She is a talented artist.

Sparkling, clear-voiced singing debut,

Politzer is an accomplished pianist in the jazz idiom, so her crystalline, assured voice on her own pop-inflected songs was a revelation. The songs and delivery are somewhat reminiscent of KT Tunstall, but with a greater degree of musicianship, and the supporting musicians are similarly top-notch.
