Incredible voice with a rocker folk vibe that you have to become obsessed with. An incredibly intimate and defining album that is just plain solid from all aspects.

I heard Samantha Crain's interview on NPR and loved her story. Her sound is totally different from pop. There's so much art in her voice and in her guitar playing. My favorite song is Equinox. I've painted a picture in my mind with the words of the song and plan to put it on canvas. There are only a couple of songs on this album that get a bit instrumentally out of control. All of the other songs are songs that you don't mind having stuck in your head all day. No regrets with this purchase. Samantha is an awesome artist and I hope she goes far with her talent.

I remember reading an interview about Bob Dylan complaining about the lack of worthwhile music coming from recent generations. I thought he was wrong on many accounts, but generally I had some affinity for what he was said. I believe this album, and this artist, stand at the forefront of a whole bunch of nice stuff coming our way. Bob Dylan, are you listening?

These tunes are stuck in my head, in a good way. I listen to at least 2-3 songs from this album daily.
