make memories
Contrary to the gentleman from Brooklyn, I adore this song. I find it to be spiritually uplifting and to be one of the most romantic songs I have heard in years. Most of the hard rockers of the 70's are growing up emotionally, as are the lyrics. Gone is the harsh head banging, pent up frustration, anger and rebellion of our youth. Making Another Memory
When it comes to great music of the industry, we've really not seen as much from rock music that have really shined. In the case with Bon Jovi, they've tuned down the feeling on their latest record, in regards to a more somber feel, as with regards on their latest single. Contrary to the gentleman from Brooklyn, I adore this song. I find it to be spiritually uplifting and to be one of the most romantic songs I have heard in years. You Want To Make A Memory, the opening single from Lost Highway is a elequent melloncollie song that reflects on heartbreak and divorce, similar to what Richie Sambora had went through the past couple of years. the song really shines nicely as a down to Earth song that deals with empty and being lonely. Although it doesn't have the edge to bring in new Bon Jovi fans, it works nicely for those die hards who want to make more great memories.Song: C+ |
