I thought I would use this book as a starting place for my kindergartener -- I think he is ready for the parts of speech.
It turns out my third-grader is completely captivated -- that's a great book. When the big kid reads it to the little kid, we have a winner. I think the illustrations are simply amazing -- they carry the learning to a much deeper level. Nice that there is an activity at the end of the book for the kids to do. I also recommend verb, pronoun, and noun -- I have all four.

I used this book after teaching adjectives to first graders and before giving a test. The kids loved it and I'm sure it helped to improve their scores.
