A great way to introduce pronouns!,

I teach first grade and my students loved this book! It is a creative fun way to introduce pronouns. The students loved the illustrations as well! All teachers should have this in their personal library!

I thought I would use this book as a starting place for my kindergartener -- I think he is ready for the parts of speech.
It turns out my third-grader is completely captivated -- that's a great book. When the big kid reads it to the little kid, we have a winner. I think the illustrations are simply amazing -- they carry the learning to a much deeper level. Nice that there is an activity at the end of the book for the kids to do. I also recommend verb, adjective, and noun -- I have all four. |
