I've had this cd for about three years and I still listen to it all the time. It's just a warm friendly cd, great inspirational lyrics. Don Chaffer melts my heart with these great harmonies and tribute to the Almighty God. Unfortunitly I have yet to get anything else by him or Waterdeep, but I will soon, because I know it will be wonderful also. I cant praise this cd enough, its gotten me through many hard times.

I have heard of Don for a long time, and I bought this CD off of a recommendation, when i first put it in i was a little hesitant. but after i listened to it a month later i blew my mind, the lyrics, simple riffs, everything added to this cd to make it a truly intimate moment in time. Track 13 is by far the icing on the cake!

What a great multidimensional CD. First of all, the music itself is original and compelling. Chaffer's voice is incredible. And as if this wasn't enough, it is lyrically one of the finest pieces of writing I have encountered in a long time. He does an impressive job of making some fine theological observations without being trite. And as my father once remarked while listening to this CD... "This guys pretty good, but he's no Don Chaffer."

I don't even own this cd, but I have listened to it several times. I heard quite a lot on the way to a missions trip that I was reluctant to go on this June. It really helped to calm me. I especially like #3. My friend owns this, and we listen to the third track on the way home some sunday nights. I hope to buy this soon.

I first heard Don Chaffer in a concert at a small Christian college in 1999. I fell in love with the soulful sounds of the music & bought this CD that night at the concert. Now, over ten years later, I'm still in love. When I listen to it now, I realize how simple the sound is, not very produced, and I guess some people could be bothered by that, but I think it gives a charming air of authenticity and real heart.
