Upon signing with Prelude Records in 1980 Bobby Thurston teamed up with the songwriting and production team of Willie Lester and Rodney Brown to record this great album. Both the title track and "Check Out The Groove" were major club hits which also got plenty of radio airplay. The propulsive, funky, high-tech and sophisticated post-Disco dance sounds found here ( replete with heavy-hitting percussion and irresistibly groovy and funky bass lines) epitomize the sound of early-1980s R&B music. This CD reissue contains the original LP's five tracks plus four remixes.
