5.0 out of 5 stars Headphone Commute Review
Recorded at the Art Institute of Seattle, the album saturates instrumental music with emotion. Meeting for the first time as 15 individuals responding to an ad for experimenting with walls of noise, the group evolved into its current concoction of three guitars, a Rhodes and a drum set. Continuing to satisfy my cravings of GSY!BE's innovative sound, Joy Wants Eternity...

Recorded at the Art Institute of Seattle, the album saturates instrumental music with emotion. Meeting for the first time as 15 individuals responding to an ad for experimenting with walls of noise, the group evolved into its current concoction of three guitars, a Rhodes and a drum set. Continuing to satisfy my cravings of GSY!BE's innovative sound, Joy Wants Eternity dreams up endless soundscapes that spread in thin layers over the vast horizon of sound. Crafted smarter than emergency flotation devices, this true [post-]post-rock album is guaranteed to bring you to the shores of sanity in case of any unplanned crash landing. For the likes of This Is Your Captain Speaking, This Will Destroy You, and Mono. Favorite track: From Embrace To Embrace
